He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Edward McDowell and Jacqueline Elizabeth Pringle Bowling; his son Steven Wayne McDowell, Jr. (Lindsey); his sisters, Debra Ann Perry (Larry), Linda Diane Jones (Mike), Angela Elizabeth Petchaur (Ron) and Tracy Leigh Dean (Glenn); and his grandchildren, Lucy Pearl McDowell, Lulah Grey McDowell, Ida Ruth McDowell, Opal June McDowell and Wendell George McDowell.
