He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulyess Smith and Pearline Coverson Smith; and his siblings, Robert Smith, Amos Smith and Patricia Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Clotee Smith; his son Jonathan Smith (Latedra Smith); his stepchildren, Vincent Marshall (Tracey), Kiawanda Henry (Elbert), Rodney Patrick and Reginald Patrick; and his sisters, Lillie Cannon of Hamilton, GA and Nettie.
