It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Faye Thurmond of Shellman, Georgia, born in Cuthbert, Georgia, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Russell and Mildred Melissa Coleman Thurmond. She is survived by: her aunt Bobbie D. Coleman; and her cousins, Don, Vonda Coleman, James, Judy Coleman, Gwen, Lewell Turner and David Thurmond.
Friends are welcome however masks are encouraged and social distancing will be required.
