He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Sharkey and Carol Melton Milner; his son Rodney Milner; and his brothers, Emory "Noot" Milner and Rex Milner.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Turner Milner of Shellman; his children, Taryn Milner Roberson (Chad) of Shellman and Christophor Milner of Fayetteville, GA; his siblings, Patsy Milner Brown of Shellman and Dale Milner (Judy) of Albany; his grandchildren, Nathan, Jordan and Rachel; and his daughter Trish Milner Cook (Patricia Rodgers). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
