He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Cartwright and Lavine Pitts Cartwright. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Smith Cartwright of Shellman; his son Cory Joseph Cartwright (Micele) of Florence, KY; his sister Janice Coleman (Mac) of McRae, GA; and his granddaughter Aurora Stern.
