He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Thomas and Alva Hall Padgett; his son Samuel T. Thomas; and his siblings, Carol Thomas Wehling, Susan Werre Ray and Samuel Moody.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela C. Thomas of Shellman; his daughter Vanesa Milliron (Ted) of Shellman; his brother Jimmy D. Werre (Susie) of Fernadina, FL; his grandchildren, Erin Thomas, Ben Milliron, Blaine Thomas, Hayden Milliron LaTulip and Devin Thomas; and his great grandchild Sophia Milliron.

Memorials may be made to Willson Hospice House at 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707.
