It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Eugenia Thornton of Shellman, Georgia, born in Montezuma, Georgia, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbrie Tillmon Howell and Eugenia Coker Walden. She is survived by: her children, Randall Thornton of Moultrie, Danielle Womack of Pelham and Lauren Thornton of Bainbridge; and her siblings, Ramona Brookins of Shellman, Tim Howell of Blakely and Dewayne Howell of Albany. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
