She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Pope Harkness; her children, Gail Harkness Ledford and Charles "Chuck" Harkness; and her siblings, Frankie Gunter and George Allen.
She is survived by: her son Joe Harkness, Jr (Lynda) of Palmetto; and her children-in-law, John Ledford of Sharpsburg and Kay Harkness of Union City. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchild.
