It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Ann Self of Sharpsburg, Georgia, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Thrasher and Myrtie Bell Thrasher; her husband James Self; her son Jimmy Self; her grandson Jonathan Cain; and her brothers, Cary Thrasher and Marvin Thrasher.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Seate (Jason) of Sharpsburg, GA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Cain Winston (Steve L. Morton) and Brandin Self (LeeAnn) of Marietta, GA; her brother Lynn Thrasher of Americus, GA.; and her sister-in-law Shirley Thrasher Ozark. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
