He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Raker and Frances Raker. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Raker; his children, Jeffrey Pate (Krystal), Chris Pate (Alicia), Tracy Boyle (David) and Franny Hampton (Shane); and his sister Frances Lawhon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
