He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Grant Sharp and Lois Irene Cunningham Sharp; his granddaughter Ashley Blair; and his siblings, Duane Sharp and Karen Hurst.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dotson Sharp; his children, Beverly Riley, Bradley Sharp and Brian Sharp; his grandchildren, Justin Clark, Brock Sharp and Brett Sharp; and his brother Dewey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Line Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 757, Sharpsburg, GA 30277.
