She was predeceased by: her father Salvador Salone; and her nephew Brandan Salone. She is survived by: her husband Denver Jr.; her children, Sophia and Denver III; her mother Theresa Thumfart; and her siblings, Michael Salone, Salvador Salone, Mary Ann Drumm, Dina Silva, Theresa Meuser, Julie Speiss and Vanessa Luce.

“My deepest condolences to the Garrett family. I was friends with Regina and Denver over 40 years ago while at Southeastern Louisiana University. Regina and I were in a class together and became fast friends. Her bright eyes and constant upbeat attitude were infectious. I was so sad to find that she had passed so young. Reading all of the comments I learned that she had the kind of life I would haves expected, one of love and peace. Regina, Rest in peace, Rise in glory. Olin Kropog”
