She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lester and Julia Belle Dowling; her husband Joseph Carl Elledge; her daughter Carla Elledge Kimsey; and her sister Latriece O'Steen.
She is survived by: her daughter Deidre Grindle (Thom); her son-in-law Jay Kimsey (Tammy); her siblings, Bonnie Hull (K. D.), Judy Ramsey (Gary) and Joseph L. "Buddy" Dowling, III (Libby); her grandchildren, Benjamin Grindle (Amanda), Jayson Kimsey (Jami), Jonathan Kimsey (Hannah), Cathryn Kimsey, Joseph Kimsey, Stephani Kimsey and Elijah Grindle; and her great grandchildren, Adalee Mae Grindle, Annabelle Rose Grindle and Jamison Kimsey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213).
