He was predeceased by: his mother Melissa Jeter Ridgeway. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ridgeway of Sharpsburg; his children, Michael Heath Ridgeway (Beth), Zack Norton, Lauren Norton and Chris Norton; his grandchildren, Amy Ridgeway (Tyler), Kylie Ridgeway, Corbin Norton, Maisley Norton and Demni Norton; his great grandchild Dakota Faith Shaw; his father Royce Ridgeway of Marietta; and his brother Mitchell Ridgeway (June) of Marietta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
