Lewis Edward Pitts Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewis Edward Pitts of Sharpsburg, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lewis Edward Pitts to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Irvin Pitts and Irene Harmon Pitts; his wife Ethel E. Pitts; his daughter Debra; and his sisters, Christine Hannah and Maydell Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, Cricket Pitts (Phyllis), Darlene Crunkleton (Tony) and Leisa Waddell (Rick). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Chapel (1 Bullsboro Dr, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (6033 Gordon Rd, Senoia, GA 30276).
