He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Odessa Merriweather of Sharpsburg, GA; his children, Charles Bailey (Ilona) of Alaska, Michael Bailey of Sharpsburg, GA, Lesia Jackson (Jimmy) of Conyers, GA and Diane Hill of Decatur, GA; and his sister Vivian Meadows (Jack) of Texas. He was also cherished by seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
