We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2023, at the age of 75, Gerrard Guy Wood of Sharpsburg, Georgia, born in Newnan, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newton "Bill" Wood and Wilmirth Lee Wood; and his brother Jim Wood. He is survived by: his son H. Guy Wood, II of Senoia; his sisters, Joyce Wood of Sharpsburg and Janice Whitehead of Gainesville, GA; his granddaughter Dakota Wood; his great grandchild Savannah Wood; and his nephew Dr. Jax Whitehead.
