It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Manning of Sharpsburg, Georgia, born in Norcross, Georgia, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father John Stone; and her husband Hugh D. Manning. She is survived by: her son Hollis; her daughter-in-law Linda Manning; her granddaughters, Holly (Jeremy Williams) and Riley Williams of Sharpsburg; and her sisters, Margaret Dresher Engle and Becky Hall.

“Family: I’m so sorry for your loss 😢 Ms. Ethel was our Sharpsburg neighbor for a number of years. I cherish my visits with her. We were kindred spirits - and our hearts connected through the beauty of nature; pretty flowers, flowering shrubs & trees. She loved being outdoors and tending her flowers. I know it was disheartening when her body just wouldn’t allow her to do that sort of thing anymore. Even so, her big smile and jovial laugh would brighten my day. Gonna miss her.”
