It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Ray Farr of Sharpsburg, Georgia, born in Newnan, Georgia, who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ray Farr (Bud) and Joy Horsley Farr. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Ratliff Farr; his children, Stephen Farr (Jennie) of Chattahoochee Hills, Scott Farr (Jamie) of Palmetto, Ryan Puckett of Douglasville and Jennifer Gareau (Marty) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Jenny Eidson (Dave), Seth Farr (Jaimee), Shelby McCain (Adam), Reagan Farr, Jackson Farr, Jax Puckett, Charlotte Gareau, Jamison Gareau and Elizabeth Gareau; and his sister Karen Farr Poucher (Claude) of Sharpsburg.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
