He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee Deane, Sr. and Geneva Christine Jackson Deane; and his brother James Thomas "Tommy" Deane. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Deane of Byron; his children, Justin Owens (Katie) of Lizella, Ryan Owens (Jessica) of Byron, Derrick Deane (Ashley) of Warner Robins and Dillon Deane of Warner Robins; and his siblings, Edward Lee Deane Jr. (Linda) and Dianne Deane Talbert (Skip).
