He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Kirkland and Helene Woods; and his sister Dana Kraft. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kirkland; his son Garrett E. Kirkland, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Debi Kirkland; his daughters, Autumn Jones of Clarkesville, Georgia and Erin Fish of Pottsboro, Texas; his grandchildren, Shea Kirkland, Garrett Kirkland, III of Stockbridge, Georgia and Aubree Fish of Pottsboro, Texas; and his sister Jeannette Day. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
