He is survived by: his wife Angie Reynolds Simpson; his children, Cindy Watson (Bryant), James Simpson and J. W. Simpson; his stepson Clint Davis (April Price); his grandchildren, Chelsey Simpson and Halleigh Watson; and his brother Timothy Simpson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
