It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Tillman Fricks Sr. (Shannon, Georgia), born in Westminster, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Tillman Fricks and Essie James Fricks; his wife Annie Beth Shaw Fricks; and his siblings, David Fricks, Marilyn Gould and Betty Jo Neururer.
He is survived by: his children, Judy A. Smith, Ellen Harrison (Dale) and James "Tillman" Fricks, Jr. (Wendy); his grandchildren, Wesley Harrison, Eric Harrison, Shannon, Erin Leap, Dean Fricks, Kelsey Robinson and Karen Allen; his great grandchildren, Mason Leap of Hermitage, TN and Abby Harrison; his siblings, Brenda Patterson and Fred Fricks; and his close friend Ricky Williamson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
