He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Crawford Sheffield, Sr. and Ethel Gilbert Sheffield; his wife Betty Jean Weathersby; and his siblings, Charlie Crawford Sheffield, Jr., Ronnie Sheffield and Dorothy Mock Barnhill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Shefield Sturdivant and Linda Sheffield Roberts; his brother Marvin Glen Sheffield (Mique); his grandchildren, Chris Ellington (Melanie), Shane Roberts (Krystal) and Lindsey Oyola (Adam); his great grandchildren, Katelyn Loya (Ray), Christina Posey (Caleb), Michael Roberts, Jonathan Roberts, Samantha Roberts, Benjamin Oyola, Tobias Oyola and Frank Jordan; and his great great grandchildren, Aria Loya, Gage Loya and Conner Hinkeldey.
