He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy (Rich Schotthoefer) and Cindy (Chris Parkerson); his grandchildren, Justin Murray of Rutherfordton, NC, Andrew Schotthoefer of Oscoda, MI, Allison Schotthoefer of Sharpsburg, GA, Katelyn Schotthoefer of Sharpsburg, Natalie Brown and Van Parkerson of Clermont, FL; his siblings, Joyce "Joy" Bennett of Erwin, TN, Luther "Luke" (Trisha Swims) and James Robert "Bob" Swims of Senoia; and his friend Charlie Adams of Senoia.
