He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnny Durham Grubbs (JD) and Ethel McKinley Grubbs; his wife Reba Joanne Champion Grubbs of Senoia; his children, Carol Cook (Scott) of McDonough and Robert Crawford Grubbs, Jr. (Natalie) of Brooks, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Robert C. Grubbs, III (Kate) of Atlanta, Joshua Ray Grubbs (Elizabeth) of Atlanta, Ryan Molock (Katie) of Dallas and Brielle Elizabeth Grubbs of Jacksonville, Florida.; his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Taylor Molock of Dallas, Georgia.; his brothers, James K. Grubbs (Sheila) of Memphis and William D. Grubbs (Betty) of Savannah; and his pet Jethro.
There will be a graveside service on Friday morning at Monroe Memorial Gardens at 11:30 a.m. Please, no flowers; memorial contributions can be made to Harp's Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Georgia or McDonough First Methodist in McDonough, Georgia.
