She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Terrell Self and Lucy Mae Johnson Self. She is survived by: her daughter Denise Spruill; her grandchildren, Larea Thornton (Chris), Jay McCart, Ashley Vitch and Anthony Vitch; her sister Linda McMillian; and her adoptive son Lance Behling. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
