He was predeceased by: his mother Hattie Jeanette Pierce Tompkins; and his sister Karen Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tompkins; his children, Ryan Keith Tompkins (Jenny) and Melissa Tompkins Crooks (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Logan, Carter and Claire.
