He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walter Thompson and Evelyn Rowe Thompson of Haralson. He is survived by: his wife Berenda White Thompson; his children, Tammy Rabern (Roxanne), Patricia Burnette (Jim) and George Allen Thompson Jr. (Alex); his grandchildren, Adam Rabern, Ryan Rabern, Tyler Burnette and Austin Burnette; and his siblings, Shirley Sherrer, Janice Peace (Herman) and Jerry Thompson (Virginia). He is also survived by friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
