He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackie Harrison and Stanton Smith; his stepfather David "Bud" Harrison; his grandparents, Lewis, Sadie Smith, Lee and Sadie Miller; and his brother-in-law Bill Graham.
He is survived by: his son Stanton Smith; his siblings, Lynn Smith (Gary) of Screven, Dana Graham of Screven, Lanette Beaver (Jasper) of Screven and Lewis Smith (Angel) of Gainesville; his nieces and nephews, Derek Smith (Dana), Austin Akin (Margaret), Eric Akin, Kyle Smith, John-Lewis Smith, Trenton Smith, Rebekah Kicklighter (Michael), Megan Graham and Linli Beaver; his cousins, John Walker and David Strickland; and his friend Greg Aspinwall. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
