He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Crews and Myrtle Crews; and his daughter Melissa Ann Crews. He is survived by: his wife Betty Crews of Screven; his children, Cheryl Wainwright of Screven, Donna Blocker of Patterson, Matthew Crews (Brande) of Screven and Nick Crews of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Chrissi Goldsmith, Patrick Wainwright, Kee Blocker, Matt Crews, Jr., Kristian Crews, Tristyn Johnson, Braelyn, Josh, Taylor and Brooke Crews; and his siblings, Stanley Crews (Nancy), Bobby Crews (Patty) and Marylou Higginbotham. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
