He was predeceased by: his parents, Dub Tyre and Wilma Tyre; and his brother Eddie Tyre. He is survived by: his wife Robin Tyre of Screven; his children, Jake Tyre (Angela) of Fosterville, Tenn, Natasha Scott (Jacob Marple) of Jesup, Holly Manning (Steven) of Gardi, Jeremy Tyre (Krista) of Bell Buckle, Hannah Warren (Brandon) of Screven, Rhonda Gray of Nashville and Brooks Tyre of Screven; his brother Steve Tyre of Screven; and his sister-in-law Angie Skinner (Carl) of Nashville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
