She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnett Goss and Hazel Davis Goss; her husband Charles Kenneth Carter; and her sister Linda Goss. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Evors (Duane Bennett) of Screven, Tanya Allen (Quincey) of Patterson and Garnetta Carter of Screven; her siblings, Mary Kate Goss of Pooler, Erma Mae Cisco (Leslie) of Woodbine, Rachel Collier of Jacksonville, Alicia Ho-Shing of Jacksonville, Raymond Goss of Jacksonville and John Goss (Barbara) of Lake City, FL; and her grandchildren, William C. Shirley, Amanda Shirley (Glenn), Tia Allen, Brittany Stanley, Mattie Allen and Skyler Edenfield. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
