With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Odean Bennett Lightsey of Screven, Georgia, who passed away on October 2, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leaburn Lightsey; her parents, Jim Henry and Tommie Lee Bennett; her siblings, Labon, Denny Bennett and Ima Jean "My Jean" Harris; and her great grandchildren, Madison and Tanner Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Paradice (Don) of Vidalia, Shay Roland (Gene) of Jesup and Lee "Stump" Lightsey of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; her brother Jimmy Bennett (Annette) of Screven; and her children, Sharon Mack (Eric) of Collins, Billy Davis of Lyons and Janet Royal (John) of Screven. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great- grandchild several nieces and nephews.
