With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Wesley Dover Sr. (Screven, Georgia), who passed away on February 17, 2019 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dover and Elizabeth Little; and his half-brother Donnie Little. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Barnes Dover of Screven; his sons, Wesley Dover (Cherrie) of Stearns, Thomas Dover (Stella) of Smyrna, Brian Dover (Veronica) of Minford and Chris Dover (Amber) of Phenix City, Alabama; his grandchildren, Kelby Dover (Samantha), Jamie Dover (Christina), Caleb Coleman, Aiden Dover, Michael Dover and Leeland Dover; his great grandchildren, Katie Beth, Beau and Rory Dover; and his sisters, Phyllis Graham (Robert) of Screven and Glenda Whittington of Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southeast Georgia Health System Nunnally House, 3215 Kemble Avenue, Brunswick, Ga. 31520.
