She was predeceased by: her brother Verlyn Pope; her grandson Ben Grantham; the father of her children Don Blocker; and her son-in-law Buddy Tate. She is survived by: her brother Carroll; her children, Rhonda Pearson (Frank) of St. Simons Island, Kim Tate of Screven and Chip Blocker of Screven; and her grandchildren, Lori Hamm, Erin Driggers, Bo Mann (Aletha), Sasha Theus, Summer Kennedy (Jereme), Erich Pearson (Terra) and Charles Pearson (Jac). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 1625 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, GA 31545.
