She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Eason and Mildred Blocker Eason; and her brother Robert Eason. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Samuel "Sammy" Cox of Brunswick; her children, Michelle Cox Turley (Dave) of Savannah, Michael Cox (Kim) of Brunswick and Jon Cox (Amy) of Flowery Branch, Georgia; her siblings, Helen Evors (Eugene) of Screven, Louise Burch of St. Marys and Darvin Eason of Lenox; her grandchildren, Justin, Josie, Blake Cox, Adam Benguenna, Samantha, Spencer Turley, Gracie and Annie Cox; and her great grandchild Liam. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
