It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanie Jones of Screven, Georgia, born in Jacksonville, Georgia, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Jones and Mary Ellen Jones; her spouse Madison "J. M." Jones; her brothers, Eugene, Roy and Troy; and her son Gene Stroble.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Stroble (Kim), Daryl Stroble (Leon), Ricky Jones (Cindy), Kay Patterson (Pat) and Sandy Jones (Gloria); her sister Grace Martin; her grandsons, Travis, Justin Stroble, Lee, James Bazemore, Eric, Gary and Terry Patterson; and her nieces, Beverly Taylor (Donald), Diane Miller and Christi Jones. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
