He was predeceased by: his former wife Sandra F. Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith Kennedy of Screven; his daughters, Margo Kennedy of Apex, NC and Sandy Ann Hayes (Tiny) of Jesup; his grandson James E. Michael (Liz) of Jesup; his stepdaughter Rebecca Thornton (Brad) of Screven; his stepgrandsons, Wesley and Zachary Thornton; and his close friends, Kyle, Carla and Justin Stueber of Lawrenceville.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 730 S. Macon Street Jesup, GA 31545 or to Affinis Hospice, 1705 Boulevard Square, Waycross, GA 31501.
