He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill McReady and Annie Evors McReady; and his siblings, Benny McReady, Wayne McReady and Linda Gail Hughes.

He is survived by: his wife Nell Oliver McReady; his children, Darlene Tillman of Blackshear, Donna Kay Morgan (Stacey) of Jacksonville, Florida, Donald McReady of Savannah and Mackey McReady (Tonya) of Screven; his siblings, Shirley Sheffield (Robert), Genell Roberson of Screven, Lamar McReady (Linda) of Jesup and Herman McReady (Thelma) of Screven; his grandchildren, Luke McReady, Denton Denison, Lacie Thomas and Candis Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Jonah, Kora McReady, Alivia, Blaiden Thomas, Dawson Denison, Khloe Brock and Paislee Brainbridge.
