He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harmon and Cora Lee Hurst Taylor; and his siblings, Robbie Taylor, Linda (Milton Moon) and Willie Hunt.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward "Eddie" Jr. (Jessica Taylor) of Statesboro and Anthony Taylor of Statesboro; his grandsons, Mason Monroe Taylor, Ian Bradly Taylor and Landon Grant Taylor; his siblings, Genette (Frank Waits) of Sylvania, Gloria Hunt of Sylvania and Billy; his sister-in-law Marlene Taylor of Loganville, GA; and his former wife Carol Taylor.
