He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alvin and Martha Ann Phillips; his grandson Ben Grantham; and his son-in-law Tate. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Pearson (Frank) of St. Simons Island, Kim Tate of Screven and Chip Blocker of Screven; the parent of his children Marion Pope Blocker; his grandchildren, Lori Hamm, Erin Driggers, Bo Mann (Aletha), Sasha Theus and Summer Kennedy (Jereme); and his sisters, June Gray and Mary Hammond. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
