He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Edward and Margaret Dorthea Omey Block; his wife Susan Lee Brunson Block; his children, Christina Williamson and David L. Block; and his brother Dennis Block.
He is survived by: his son Joseph Block of Screven; his sisters, Kathy Powell of Jacksonville and Nancy Varga of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Katlyn Severn, Skylar Norrell, Brandon Block, Logan Block, Michael Williamson and Jacob Williamson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
