He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Tatum and Bessie Tatum; his sisters, Mary Pierce and Aldine Crews (Rudy); his great grandchild Maddux Howard; his son-in-law Barry Collier; his brother-in-law Royce Blalock; his wife Sonuya Tatum of Screven; his children, Karen Collier of Jesup, Vickie Johnson of Jesup, Lisa Massey (Gary) of Jesup, Della Swain (Spud) of Jesup, Lori Atkinson (Wayne) of Screven, Jammie Tatum (Mandy) of Screven and Eric Tatum (Lisa) of Screven; his sisters, Margaret Blalock of Waycross and Alva Barrow (Tommy) of New Bern, NC; and his grandsons, Travis Denison, Leslie Griffis, Shawn Thornton, Franklin Tatum, Chad Tatum and Seth Swain. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
