She is survived by: her husband Danny Thornton of Screven; her children, Jena Yoder (Rod) of Screven, Elena Hill (Daniel) of Gardi and John Thornton (Crystal) of Screven; her daughter-in-law Misty Spell Thornton of Baxley; her grandchildren, Courtney Thornton (Matt Bales), Riley, Bailey, Gabe Thornton, Cash, Karston, Lilly, Sofia, Caleb, Kampton Yoder and Jasper Hill; her siblings, Charlie McCann (Jim) of Screven and Donnie Whitaker of Savannah; and her sister-in-law Elaine Howard (Leamon) of John's Island, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
