She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlisle Roberson and Melvine Roberson; her former husband Joe Barnes; and her siblings, Elaine "Sissy" Roberson and Billy Crews.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Barnes (Annamaria) of Appling, Larry Barnes (Misty) of Screven and Barry Barnes (Sarah) of Patterson; her grandchildren, Barbara Desjardins (Kyle), Sarah Barnes, Valeria Barnes, Nathan Barnes, Jaden Barnes, Lainie Barnes and Lyndsay Barnes; her great grandchildren, Annamaria and Savannah Desjardins; and her siblings, Mardale Lackey (Pat), Julie Samples, Jimmy Roberson (Mary Ann), Tommy Roberson (Judy) and Ray Johnson (Lil). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
