He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Smiley Gillis; and his sister Rhonda Gillis. He is survived by: his father Robert Lewis "Bob" Gillis (Ann); his sons, Zachary Gillis and Dezmond Hill; his grandson Bryce Gillis; his sister Dini Whigham (Wayne); his nephew Joshua Duston Brooker; and his nieces, Jennifer B. Parrish and Amber Warman (Sam). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
