With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sergio Hernandez of Savannah, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sergio shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sergio farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Sergio Enrique Amescua. He is survived by: his wife Leonor Vargas; his mother Martha Beatriz Lopez; and his brother Juan Hernandez Lopez.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1707 Bull St, Savannah, GA 31401). Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes – West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322).
