She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Eugene Rowe and Gerdie L. Owens; her son Eric Thomas; her siblings, Jeanie Jackson of Nevada, Kevin Owens of Ohio and Albert Owens of Florida; her uncles, Raymond, Johnnie, Elsworth, Fred and Carl; and her aunt Bernetta.
She is survived by: her children, Don Thomas, Gerdie Thomas of Illinois and Wayne Vaughn (Laura) of Indiana; her aunt Mary Purnell (Willie) of Ohio; and her siblings, Samuel Owens of Nevada, Sylvester Cowan of Nevada and Bell Owens of Nevada. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
