He is survived by: his wife Marsha Patricia Harley Shaffer; his children, Ashley Shaffer, Jamie Gonzalez (Joseph), Brittany Wilkinson (Jeremy) and Randall "Randy" A. Shaffer, Jr.; and his siblings, Lucinda Lee Carter (David), Richard Lynn Shaffer, Sr. (Janet), Rodney Sullivan Shaffer (Anna) and Raymond Shaffer (Debra).
